5 Tips To Stay Motivated In Your Fitness Journey
What's up Warriors!! So often I hear my clients say, "I can't stay motivated in the gym." I wanted to share with you some great tips to keep that motivation going and keep you moving in the right direction.
1.) Don't complicate things! Workouts don't need to be filled super complicated movements. Keep things simple and easy to follow so you don't get overwhelmed.
2.) Do what you enjoy! Find whatever style, modalities, and training regimen that you can get down with. Nobody wants to dread going to do something everyday. You need to enjoy it!
3.) Accountability partner. Get a friend, a coach, join a support group whatever you find best. A trainer is only with you for 30 min to an hour of the day, its the other 23hrs that matter. I find most people don't need help with the exercises, it's really the accountability and keeping them on track daily.
4.) Reward Yourself. Create rewards for certain achievements. Example: I trained hard for one month straight, I will reward myself by going shopping for some new clothes.
5.) Set a Goal. This is huge. I'm very big with creating long and short term goals. It always important to have that clear cut vision. Create a destination goal too make it fun. Example: You have a trip to the Bahamas in 3 months, you work towards looking and feeling your best for that trip.
